Knight’s Automotive Repair has been a family-owned business in Roxbury since 1984. Originally founded by Peyton Knight as a gas-only Shell station on Route 10 where he was the sole employee.
Eventually opening garage services bays. As the business grew, he brought on more staff to meet the growing demand at his station. Over the course of his first 13 years Peyton had received numerous
achievements including the Shell Oil Company Circle of Excellence Award.
In 1996 Peyton and his wife Nancy pivoted the company away from gas service to focused more on Automotive repair. Moving the business to 171 East Main Street in Ledgewood where it is today. Originally occupying the space with a lease, the businesses success allowed them to buy the building in 2001. Within 1 year of being at the new location, the business became an AAA approved auto repair facility which was no easy task. They have also won the AAA shop of the year award several times.
With the addition of their youngest son Justin to the business, Knight’s Automotive Repair is set up for a great future in Roxbury. We thank them for their support in the community and wish them many
more years of success and achievement.
